MGI - Department for Mechanization of Animal Husbandary and Biological Processes - Department for Mechanization of Animal Husbandry, Feeding and Environmental Technologies

The Department is specialized for investigation of animal husbandry, fodder processing and storage technologies along with related environmental technology solutions based on domestic and EU directives and requirements. From technological aspect, special attention is paid to husbandry technologies used in practice and mechanization procedures for processing and storage of agricultural crops. From agro-energy point of view, the Department focuses on raw material pre-treatment options with different fermentation technologies as well as pollutants from agricultural sources which have impact on the soil, water resources and the atmosphere. Moreover, professional data and information are provided for basic and applied research, development and innovation projects and also for technology planning and development.
