MGI - Department for Mechanization of Crop Production
The Department includes the Department for Agricultural Machines and the Department for Crop Production Technology and two testing laboratories: Accredited Examination Laboratory for Energetics and Accredited Examination Laboratory for Plant Protection Machines.

A Laboratóriumban a piaci szereplők megkeresésének eleget téve folynak vizsgálatok a fejlesztés alatt álló, illetve a kereskedelmi forgalomba hozandó vegyes tüzelésű és alternatív szilárd tüzelőanyaggal működtetett, szakaszos és automata biogén tüzelőberendezések és fűtőanyagaihoz kapcsolódóan.
The Laboratory Examination carries out the examination of large scale plantation (horticultural) and filed land sprayers in accordance with the pertaining regulations.
The Department’s main activity area is testing of machines in field and under laboratory conditions. Improvement of efficiency, testing alternative fuel applicability and tyre-soil-tractor-implement interaction related researches are considered as key objectives.
The Department offers professional background for testing of tillage, seeding, plant protection, fertilization and harvesting. It has horticulture and irrigation machines with necessary devices, test procedures along with well-trained research staff.
